Seminari-Color-Russos

The 4th edition of the Technical Colour Seminar was held completely in Russian with participation from operators and company heads from Eastern Europe
The Manel Xifra Boada Technological Centre, part of Comexi Group, has organized a new edition (that now makes four), of the Technical Colour Seminar. On 6 and 7 October, a total of 21 operators and heads of leading companies in Russia, Ukraine and Latvia broadened their knowledge in colour management so as to improve internal processes in their companies and, consequently, increase productivity.

The course attendants particularly valued the program contents and the quality of the practical sessions, thanks to the experience of the pre-printing specialists at Comexi and the Manel Xifra Boada Technological Centre. Throughout the two workshops, these professionals combined theoretical explanations and practical exercises in colour management in their industrial laboratory; an area of 2,200 sqm with a wide fleet of printing and converting machinery.

“At the Manel Xifra Boada Technological Centre we work to develop personalized training programs that satisfy the industry’s real requirements”, explains David Centelles, the Technological Centre Director. “Our team of experts constantly updates the contents and subjects taught on the courses so that students are always up-to-date with developments and advances in the flexible packaging sector. This makes us real partners for these companies”.

The technical colour seminar was divided into the following subjects: colour theory and management, measuring equipment, characterization of the flexography printing press, multicolour system and ink formulating. On this occasion, the team of experts also introduced the Cingular Match I and II systems: solutions developed by Comexi to obtain colour parameter stabilization from the start of the printing process.

More than 500 professionals have already trained at the Manel Xifra Boada Technological Centre

This was the fourth edition of the technical colour seminar, a training program that is already an established event on the Technological Centre calendar, together with other technical sessions like the Advanced flexographic printing course, the Advanced laminating course, the practical maintenance seminar and the one focused on problem solving in printing. Over the last five years, more than 500 professionals have broadened their knowledge in the various areas of flexible container printing and converting, thanks to their over 40 scheduled courses.
